Toy Drive- 2020

The much anticipated annual Rotary Toy Drive looks different this year.

For the health and safety of the community we will not be having the parade. We are still accepting cash donations as the need in our schools is greater than ever. COVID restrictions do not allow us to receive toys, or non-perishables.

Please continue to support our community youth by way of an online, or mail in donation.

Mail a cheque payable to “Rotary Club of Nanaimo – Oceanside” to PO Box 41018, RPO Woodgrove, Nanaimo BC, V9V 1S3

Or simply CLICK HERE to donate online.

Rotary at a Glance

Rotary is a global network of 1.2 million neighbors, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change – across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves. Rotary’s people of action have used their passion, energy, and intelligence to take action on sustainable projects.

A Word from our President

Each year Rotary renews itself by electing a new leadership team within each club and internationally. The incoming Rotary International (“RI”) President choses a theme, not only to guide RI’s leaders, but also to guide Rotarians around the world. For the 2020-2021 Rotary year, RI President, Holger Knaack, of Herzogtum Lauenburg-Mölln, Germany adopted the theme “Rotary Opens Opportunities”.

As a club, we hope to bring the opportunities to more people in our community through our local initiatives as well as our youth programs. Today’s youth are tomorrow’s leaders and is where our club primarily focuses our time.

I welcome you to check out our club’s activities and invite you to come by our Rotary Club of Nanaimo Oceanside meetings to say “hi” and get to see what we are all about.

Emeka Udeagha, President
