Dear Nanaimo Oceanside Rotary Club,

I just want to take a minute to send you all a personal message telling you how much everyone here at Loaves and Fishes Food Bank appreciated your help with the Food 4 Summer Food Drive. You had an especially difficult route in a previously untried area. However, I want you to know that your efforts brought in 608.48 pounds of food valued at $1,518.00. This was one of the higher yields compared to other neighbourhoods. So far our total weight is 11,546.7 pounds of food at a value of $28,000 and there is still food coming in today.

You have made a major difference to a great many people who might otherwise go without non-perishable food this summer. Your feedback on your area was also invaluable to me and I promise that should you choose to help us again next year, I can ensure you get a more gentle location. We could not have done this without dedicated community members like you.
