Club Projects
The Rotary Club of Nanaimo-Oceanside is a not for profit organization
that is committed to helping the community.
The Rotary Fieldhouse project on 3rd street is a Community building
providing the necessary facilities to ensure the users of the area have
the health, safety and necessary facilities available to host events
or functions.
Previously the only service available to users of the park were two portable
toilets. The Fieldhouse would provide washroom facilities and change
room facilities, a concession and a community multi-purpose room to host
meetings, clinics and events. The facility would be used by youth and
youth sport teams, but will also be accessible by the community and visitors.
The Rotary Club of Nanaimo - Oceanside would like to thank everyone who
supports our fund raising efforts through our James Bond Gala and our
Annual Golf Tournament.
We would also like to thank the support and efforts of Malaspina University-College,
City of Nanaimo, Nanaimo Minor Baseball and the 4 other Rotary Clubs
in Nanaimo who do an amazing job helping others in our community.
Projects:
Oceanside Rotary has donated over $300,000 to the community in the past 12 years. Our focus is on youth centered projects that provide direct benefit within the Nanaimo area.
